This issue
introduces us to Gabriel and his new "family." As one chapter of his is life
torn away, Gabe finds solace in a most unexpected place. Unbeknownst to
Gabe, his father is searching for him, determined to have his son stand at
his side and serve as protégé. Will Gabe's new family stand at his side or
stand against him? Will Gabe choose a path of light or dark? Who is really
pulling the strings?
Abandoned as a child, Gabriel was raised by a Southern Baptist Minister
and had finally found peace and purpose in his life. When strange creatures
show up at his door, Gabe can no longer keep his abilities a secret and must
set out on a journey to discover his true destiny. Gabe's father, however,
has plans and abilities of his own.
